Lanawae Housing Centre is a not for profit organization committed to addressing the needs of the vulnerable and under represented population in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Below are current programs available.

Language and Orientation Support

Guidance on navigating
Canadian systems and
services, including education, healthcare, transportation, community resources, and cultural
integration.

Employment Assistance

Assistance with resume creation, job hunting, and networking with prospective employers.

Food Connections

We are proud to collaborate with Harvest Manitoba, Second Harvest, the Leftover Foundation, and local Manitoba businesses and farmers to offer our clients and the community weekly free food deliveries.

This initiative ensures that everyone has access to fresh, nutritious food.

We are able to provide this thanks to donations and our volunteers.

To date, we have distributed over 250000 lbs of food within the community.

Transitional Supportive Housing

Affordable and secure housing options are available for both short-term and long-term stays.

Settlement Services

Support with obtaining essential documents and accessing services,
including bank accounts, transit passes, healthcare registration, and referrals to community resources.
